Props

• We have made these numbered pieces of paper to put by parts of Zacs body and by any evidence as these are what you would see at a crime scene. Therefore this will be appealing to the target audience and go with our genre of thriller due to the fact crime is a common convention of this genre. 

• Another prop we have used are these yellow flowers. We have used this for when Stacey places them on her best friend Zacs grave. We chose the colour yellow due to the fact it connotes friendships therefore conveying their relationship. 

• We have also used a vodka bottle in our trailer. We use this to show Stacey drinking heavily connoting she can not cope with what has happened. There is only a shot of this falling out of her hand and hitting the floor. Throughout my research I discovered that in many trailers alcohol is shown as a copying mechanism as in 'The Girl On The Train' trailer therefore conveying that my props are conventional to real media products. 

Another prop we have used is the detective board this is used to show Stacey trying to solve the death of her best friend. It included photographs of suspects, settings and newspaper articles. This board also connotes crime therefore appealing to the target audience of the thriller genre. 

• This mug is used in the trailer when Zacs mum hears the news of her sons death. The mug drops to the floor and is smashed this helps to connote her shock.
